  | bug problem

| | I was cued off by a few people that there was a bug in the main page on some thumbnails.
Problem fixed.

Oh, the site's not inactive.
I have been making a site for my guild in Guild Wars, Soylent Green Recovery Group.
Also, I was waiting until my tablet pen came in so I could go pure digital again.
Well, I obtained the pen finally, so I've been sketching some.
You can expect the site have updates at least weekly.

| not a squeeky toy
| october 11.05
| | This is definitely a first for me.
Today I woke up to my puppy running around making squeeking noises and tossing around a toy.
Except it wasn't a toy.
It was a squirrel.
That's right, an 8 inch long flying squirrel somehow snuck its way into my place.
I'm calling her Momo-chan in honor of a certain flying squirrel from Samurai Champloo.
Apparently Momo was trying to assassinate me ninja style in my sleep, but my puppy bodyguard saved me.
;p
Strangely enough, I sat watching Roxy (my puppy) chase poor Momo around for about 5 minutes before I realized she wasn't a toy.
(Roxy has a squeeky squirrel toy, nearly destroyed, BTW.)
I eventually cornered poor Momo into a bathroom and locked Roxy in another room.
I managed to take some snapshots quickly with my webcam before helping her escape.
Then I gently scooped Momo up and carried her outside to the woods where she came from.
Interesting, no?

| (really) back in action

| | Alright.
All but one (very nice) image were converted so I can use them now.
Thanks to semi_threat for the help.
Now I have some stuff to upload.
Speaking of which, I Added another sketch today, so check it out.
I haven't ordered my new Wacom Pen yet, but with good reason.
I'm going out of town this weekend and I don't want it to arrive while I'm not home.
I'll order it next week.
Hopefully That will fix my current slump I'm in on the comic, seeing as I wanted to create it digitally from the start.
I'll post another image or two in the net day or so, so keep an eye out.
EKA isn't dead yet!
(I swear on a stack of Magic cards it isn't!)

| scanner frenzy

| | I found a decent scanner while I was out working on a project today.
What followed this moment was what I can only describe as a "scanner frenzy".
Everything I had on me, even total crap, got scanned as quickly as possible.
(Never know when my next opportunity to scan will be! :p )
Some of the stuff didn't scan into the correct formats, and I don't know why.
In the next week I'll be messing around with the scans to fix the quality and correct the formats.
Expect some posts this week, and check out the one I posted today.
Beginning of a nice weekend indeed.

| | Great news.
I'm ordering a replacement Wacom pen in a few days.
While not as nice as scanning, it's at least a way to input stuff into my box.
In roughly a week, I'll have the new pen and the site may flourish with weird crap for all to see.
Again.

| | It's interesting what you end up doing at 5 AM to keep your sanity.
I ended up making a vector version of a sketch for no real reason other than not having a scanner.
It's not all that good, but whatever -- dumpboxed it.
I'll make a few more of those until I get near a scanner.
More crude vectors to come!
